About this web site...

Pictures, narratives and other information on this site are for old and new friends, colleagues, acquaintances and anyone curious about my international work for IU. The pages linked to this site mostly describe experiences and portray scenes related to this work. But I cannot resist adding some personal information that I hope will redress the lack of self-disclosure on the internet.

This is not an Indiana University web site. It is motivated by nostalgia and other personal reactions to scenes that I've been lucky to visit. For information on international activities at IU, please consult www.ovpia.iu.edu.
